• Population: According to the 2020 Census, Barangay Alauli has a population of 1,773 residents, accounting for approximately 3.06% of Masantol's total population of 57,990.

• Households: In the 2015 Census, there were 277 households in Alauli, with an average household size of 5.04 members.

• Population Growth: The barangay experienced a significant population increase of 26.91% from 2015 to 2020, with an annual growth rate of 5.14%.

🏞️ Environmental and Economic Aspects

Barangay Alauli is part of Masantol's eastern and coastal area, which includes small and remote fishing villages such as Sagrada, Sapang Kawayan, Nigui, Balibago, and Bagang. These areas are seasonally affected by heavy flooding and are prone to natural hazards like tropical cyclones and storm surges. Due to subsidence in the Pampanga delta, residents have shifted from traditional agriculture to cash-based aquaculture for their livelihood.
